Drs. Ebel Smidt

Ebel Smidt is a hydrogeologist, project and process manager and a certified mediator. Ebel is director of SG, coordinator of the Dutch Groundwater Platform, and has 25 years experience in a wide range of (ground)water resources projects. As mediator he is involved in issues involving private parties and governmental institutions dealing with spatial development.
The Dutch-Egyptian Groundwater consortium is coordinated by Ebel. Participating in this consortium are research institutes, engineering consultancies and distributors of groundwater equipment and technology, all of whom are members of the Netherlands Water Partnership.
His combined international experience and knowledge of the Dutch water sector has led to a broad understanding of the groundwater sector. As a mediator Ebel is capable of highlighting the core of complex matters in appropriate style and timing and leaving solutions to involved parties.

Patty Kluijtmans

Patty (1979) is junior communication expert with an interdisciplinary and sports related background. Patty holds a undergraduate degree in recreational management and holds a bachelors degree in Media and Culture. She combines work with studies in Environment and Resource Management at the Free University of Amsterdam. She has ten years experience in various fields such as personnel management, organization, hosting and catering of various events. She is very dedicated towards working and sports. For many years she has been rowing within the Netherlands at a very high ranking level. As part of SG, Patty applies her qualifications in integrating the technical and social aspects of groundwater management. Communication plays a crucial role in this field.
